The Steven Young Award for Caledonia Thunder Peewee recipient must fit the following criteria:
  • Must be a team player
  • Player always tries even when his/her team is losing a game.  He/she never quits until the last whistle is blown and tries to boost team morale.
  • Player is always respectful of coaches, officials and other players.
  • Player is always punctual to games and practices.
  • Player always pays attention to instructions during practices and games.
  • Player’s attitude and performance are such that the team sponsor, coaching staff, teammates, parents and the CDMHA Executive are proud that he/she is a member of the CDMHA
